The Well

We were thrilled to collaborate with The Well, a family café and kids’ playground in the heart of Kuta, Lombok. The space offered the perfect setting to integrate a functional and educational garden, bringing fresh food, learning, and play together in one environment.

Our focus was to design a garden that not only supplies the café’s kitchen with fresh herbs, edible flowers, and seasonal vegetables, but also creates a space where children can learn firsthand how food is grown. This hands-on experience transforms the garden into a living classroom, sparking curiosity and connecting young visitors to nature and sustainability.

This project reflects our belief that edible landscaping can enrich both the culinary experience and the community, fostering a deeper appreciation for the food we eat and the land it comes from.
